LOT 157 1797 S-128 R3 M over E in AMERICA, PCGS AU Detail, Scratch . Rather glossy medium brown and chocolate with some frost in protected areas. Sharp with smooth surfaces and light friction on the devices, but there are a few marks. The notable marks are a light horizontal nick in the field before the upper lip, another under the chin, and a sharper diagonal one at the right bottom of the O in ONE. We can not find a “Scratch.” TDS, Breen state IX, with all the die cracks described by Breen. The M over E feature is bold. Graded EF40 net VF35 and tied for CC#11 in the Noyes census, his photo #26929. Our grade is EF40. 35924.95/52084636
