RARE DIE STATE

LOT 133 1796 S-115 R3 Draped Bust VG8 . Partly glossy medium olive brown with lighter brown on the devices. There is fine roughness in the fields and protected areas but no verdigris. The only notable mark is a dull, very old scratch in the field close to the end of the nose and chin. M-LDS, Breen state VII, with a raised retained cud break at TY, one of only 7 known to us in this die state.
