LOT 126 1796 S-110 R3 Draped Bust VF35 . Glossy dark olive brown and steel. Sharp and very attractive with only minor marks, but the toning is darker than you expect for a cent with this level of detail. There are traces of shallow verdigris in protected areas, mostly on the reverse, and the only notable marks are a light diagonal nick close below the hair ribbon and a rim tick at the D in UNITED. M-LDS, Breen state VII, with die cracks but no cud break. Graded EF40 and tied for CC#6 in the Bland census. Noyes says AU50 net VF25 and tied for CC#10.  Ex Rodney T. LOT 127 1796 S-111 R5- Draped Bust VF30 . Glossy medium brown and light chocolate with darker steel brown toning on the highpoints and lighter brown in protected areas. Lightly worn with very nice eye appeal, but there are some small planchet chips and light contact marks on both sides. A fine, light diagonal scratch on the cheek to the jaw and a diagonal nick close above the bust tip are good identifying marks. Most of the tiny planchet chips are inside the wreath, especially at NE in ONE. LDS, Breen state VI, with several die cracks on the obverse. Graded VF35 net VF30 and tied for CC#2 honors in the Noyes census, his photo #32196. A great example of this tough die variety; the latest die state seen.
