FRED BORCHERDT’S HALL OF FAME COLLECTION 1793-1814 CENTS

LOT 6 1793 S-5 R4 Wreath Cent, Large LIBERTY AG3 . Glossy chocolate and steel brown with smooth surfaces but uneven wear thanks to a subtle bend in the planchet. Just minor contact marks including a small rim bruise at the first S in STATES and a dull rim nick at the bottom of the reverse. The date and LIBERTY are clear but the central part of the reverse is worn smooth due to the minor bend. EDS, Breen state I, before any rim crumbling at the top of the obverse.
