EXTREMELY RARE TERMINAL 1793 S-1

LOT 2 1793 S-1 R4 Chain AMERI. PCGS VF Detail, Environmental Damage . Nicely detailed but covered with fine granularity under slightly glossy olive brown toning. The highpoints are a lighter shade of brown and are nearly smooth. No verdigris and the only marks are a few very tiny rim ticks over NI in UNITED. The date is not strong but it is complete and easily readable. The legends are complete and clear. Extremely rare Terminal Die State (TDS), Breen state VI, with a bold cud break connecting TAT to the rim. Only 6 examples of the die state are listed in the Noyes census, and only one of those grades above VG10; the VG10 resides in the ANS collection leaving this piece as the finest of the other 4.
