LOT 248 1855 C-1 R-1 MS62 . Absolutely brilliant full red example with an arc of steel toning around the reverse dentils. A near choice GEM example if not for the scattered carbon specks on the obverse, most notable around star 10. Brilliant full cartwheel luster. Manley state 1.0. Removed from an NGC MS64RD holder (1840813-009 label included).

LOT 250 1857 C-1 R-2 MS63 . Frosty faded mint red with subtle bluish steel toning. There are a few trivial marks on the fields and devices, nothing major or distracting. Satiny, lustrous surfaces. Manley state 1.0.

LOT 249 1856 C-1 R-2 MS63 . Bluish steel and faded mint red with 40% of the original mint red remaining on the obverse, the reverse has about 80%. There is a tiny speck of carbon at the dentils over the second A in AMERICA, free of notable marks or detraction otherwise. MDS, Manley state 2.0. Removed from a PCGS MS64RB holder (1237.64/21513151 label included).
