LOT 196 1804 C-9 R-2 Crosslet 4 Stems AU50 . Attractive chocolate and light steel brown surfaces. There are a few tiny, trivial pin scratches above the eye and in the hair visible under a glass that blend in well. Frosty, lustrous surfaces, excellent eye appeal. Manley state 2.0. 88.4 grains. Comes with a very nice provenance. Broken out of an NGC MS61BN holder with the Brobson and Partrick provenance noted (5747080-011).

LOT 197 1804 C-10 R-1 AU50+ . 5 points sharper but there are a couple tiny nicks on the obverse and a small spot on the left ribbon loop. The notable nicks include on the lower neck, one before the throat, and one on the bust tip. Choice light brown with subtle iridescent sea green and red tones. Lustrous surfaces. MDS, Manley state 2.0. Removed from an NGC MS61BN holder (683353 001).

LOT 198 1804 C-11 R-3 Plain 4 Stems VF35 . Choice glossy medium brown and chocolate. The only mark of any note is a thin horizontal nick hidden in the hair right of the ribbon. Scarce EDS, Manley State 1.0. The wreath ribbon is strong. A premium example of this popular “Redbook” variety.
