 ALVORD PLATE COIN

LOT 191 1804 C-4 R-4+ VG8 . A couple points sharper but there is some old silvery buildup, possibly lacquer, around some of the reverse devices and the obverse drapery. This was present in the Alvord plate of 1924, so it’s been there for quite some time. The only notable mark is a thin, vertical scratch from the ear to the drapery. Chocolate brown. Manley state 3.0. 84.1 grains.
