EARLY CENTS AUCTIONS
LOT 147 1838 N-15 R-5- ANACS F12 . Mostly medium brown with a few spots in front of hte neey, neck and behind the lower hair with traces of grainy crud in some protected areas. Scattered trivial marks consistent with the grade, a horizontal nick under the chin the most notable. Smooth surfaces otherwise, our grade is consistent with ANACS, F12. Certificate# 7341311
LOT 148 Group of 6 Coronet Head Cents 1825-1839 . Group of 6 Coronet Head Large cents including: 1825 N-7, 1834 N-2, 1836 N-2, 1837 N-6, 1838 N-10, and 1839 N-9 all in Fine grades.
LOT 151 1839 N-12 R-5 Booby Head ANACS VF 20 Details (Corroded) . Dark brown with lighter brown on some of the high points and microgranularity in some of the fields. The only marks of note are a pin prick off the nose and a mark nestled in the dentils over star 5. MDS (b) with a die break from the dentils at star 4 through the star to the bridge of the nose. Our grade is VF20 net F15. Certificate# 7605504 LOT 152 Group of 40 Coronet Head Cents 1816-1839 . Group of 40 Coronet Head Large Cents, grades ranging from AG3 - G6, most G4 - G5 and all with readable dates. Inspection recommended. LOT 153 Group of 33 Coronet Head Cents 1820-1839 . Group of 33 Coronet Head Large Cents, grades ranging from G6 - F12, average of VG7. Inspection recommended.
LOT 149 1839 N-8 R-1 Head of 1840 ANACS EF40 . Mostly olive with underlying ruddy chocolate brown. Only the most trivial marks are seen lightly scattered on the portrait and left obverse field. There is also a micro planchet clip on the obverse dentils between stars 10-11, as well as over R in AMERICA. E-MDS(b). Our grade is VF35. Certificate# 7512804
LOT 150 1839 N-8 R-1 Head of 1840 XF40 . Glossy light olive and chocolate browns with traces of grainy, dark crud in some protected areas. There are trivial circulation marks in the fields and a couple tiny rim nicks between stars 1-2 and on the bottom reverse. E-MDS. Smooth, glossy surfaces.
LOT 154 1841 N-4 R-1 ANACS VF30 . Steely olive and light browns with a curved toning streak across the lower obverse rounding the portrait. There are a couple marks along Liberty’s jawline and a faint scratch on the edge above OF. MDS (b). Smooth, glossy surfaces. Our grade is VF25 . Certificate# 5299577
