LOT 1 1805 5 Berries Draped Bust Dime FR2 . A few points sharper but cleaned, holed, sligthly bent, and traces of glue remain on the reverse. Now bright silver and deeper charcoal gray with scattered trivial marks and faint hairline scratches. Bold date and mostly readable legends.

1807 Draped Bust Quarter AG3 . VG sharpness but holed with remnants of old glue remaining on the reverse. Bold date.

1930 Standing Liberty Quarter AU50 . UNC sharpness but there is a stain across the lower right half of the obverse, and the right side of the reverse. The stains in those area are more matte in apperance, while the remainder of the coin is frosty bright silver with brilliant cartwheel luster.

1787 Newman 20-R R-6 ANACS G4 Details (Damaged, Corroded) Fugio Cent . A couple points sharper but lightly corroded with fine granularity on the surfaces. Mostly medium olive brown with a somewhat silverish patina, mostly on the reverse. LDS state b. Clear date, readable legends. Our grade is G4. Certificate# 7341302

1767-A Breen-701 RF Countestamp French Colonies 12 Deniers . Attractive light brown and chocolate with a few trivial marks, nothing noteworthy or distracting. Rather glossy smooth surfaces. Listed of pg 50 in the Red Book. Our grade is VF25. Certificate# 7341303

1787 Newman 20-X R-5 Pointed Rays Fugio Cent F12+ . A few points sharper with a bit of grainy crud built up on the lower right obverse and reverse protected areas. Attractive light brown and chocolate toning. Struck slightly off center on both sides, though the date is bold and legends full. EDS. 164.8 grains.

1787 Maris 55-m R-4 ANACS VG10 New Jersey Copper . A couple points sharper but covered in fine microgranularity across the surfaces. Light olive and dark brown patina, free of of notable marks. U over S in PLURIBUS, the identifying feature distinct and clear. LDS, with the die break from the upper dentils along the right side of B to the tip of the shield. Our grade is VG8. 1788 Maris 77-dd R-2 Running Fox ANACS F12 New Jersey Copper . Glossy charcoal and olive patina with a few natural stirations, as struck. Free of notable marks, glossy smooth surfaces. Double struck with the second strike shifting .5mm, most evident around the peripheral legends on the reverse. LDS, “Running Fox” variety with the identifying feature clear. Full date and legends. Our grade is VG8+. Certificate# 7512792

LOT 14 (c1858) GW-130-R1 NGC UNC Details (Cleaned) 1st Restrike Centennial of G.W. Phila Civic Procession . Glossy chocolate and olive browns with iridescent blue and violet toning on both sides. Free of notable marks, with hints of frosty luster remaining in some protected areas. Centennial of George Washington Philadelphia Civi Procession medal. 32mm. Our grade is MS60. 1793 S-2 R-4+ AMERICA Chain Cent FR2+ . A point sharper but there is a spot of granular crud along the right chain and old scratches on both sides. Chocoalte brown with wisps of lighter tan on the obverse and darker brown along the left reverse.

1793 S-1 R-4 AMERI Chain Cent AG3 . Pleasing chocoalte and olive browns with trivial scattered marks consistent with the grade on relatively smooth, glossy surfaces. The portrait is fully outlined, and most of the legends remain readable enough to identify the AMERI variety, though the date is gone. Overall choice color and surfaces for the grade, just worn.

1793 S-5 R-4 Vine & Bars Edge Wreath Cent VG7 . A point sharper but with several marks scattered across both sides, the most notable inlcude a rim bump at TY in LIBERTY, and a trio of diagonal scratches between A & T in STATES, through NT in CENT, and through the lower right wreath branch. Glossy chocolate and olive brown with deeper steel in some fields and protected areas on smooth surfaces. Weaker along the lower half of the date and upper parts of ES OF AM but readable

1793 S-2 R-4+ AMERICA Chain Cent VG7 . A few points sharper but there are raised corrosion spots at the back of the hair and around the chain, and a few spots of microporosity. There aer also a few wispy, faint hairline scratches on the portrait and fields, a rim bruise after OF, a notable dig on the rim between UNITED and STATES, and a bisecting diagonal planchet fissure across the reverse. Glossy chocolate and steel browns, weak in a couple places but fully readable date and legends.

1793 S-7 R-6- Vine & Bars Edge Wreath Cent AG3 . VG sharpness with granular corrosion on the surfaces and a dent on the left wreath branch that caused bulging in the hair. There is a dull scratch from below B down into the hair, a nick left of the sprig, and a few minor bruises on the rims. Glsosy chocolate and light steel browns with hints of tan. LDS. The surface issues obscure the date and most of LIBERTY but the reverse legends remain fully readable.

1793 S-2 R-4+ AMERICA Chain Cent G4 . A point sharper but there are numerous nicks scattered on both sides and traces of microgranularity in some protected areas. Otherwise glossy surfaces, mostly olive with lighter rosey pink tones in some fields and protected areas on both sides. Only the faintest traces of the date are visible in hand under a lamp, while the legends are weak but remain readable.

1793 S-9 R-2 Vine & Bars Edge Wreath Cent G4 . VG sharpness but fine granularity in the fields and protected areas and several marks scattered on both sides. The notable marks include a pinch on the rim at 11 o’clock on the obverse, mirrored on the reverse opposite it, and small digs on the cheek, neck, in front of the neck, and on the rim before the neck. Chocoalte and olive browns. EDS.

1793 S-13 R-4- Liberty Cap VG7 . VF20 sharpness but with corroded and porous surfaces. There are traces of old verdigris nestled within some protected areas, mostly on the lower reverse, free of notable marks. Clear date and fully readable legends.

1793 S-13 R-4- Liberty Cap FR2 . Rather glossy olive, reddish chocolate, with light porosity scatterd across the surfaces. The only notable marks are a couple rim bruises at K-4 and K-10 on the obverse. Well worn with a very faint date and legends.

1794 S-17a R-5- Head of 1793 AG3 . A few points sharper but with a handful of deep digs seen on central reverse at the upper wreath, central legends, and just above the fraction. There are also parallel, horizontal striations on both sides, and microroughness and porosity on the surfaces. The other notable marks include a pit or chip where the front neck meets the jawline and several minor bruises along either side. MDS. Light brown and dark chocolate. Full date.

1793 S-10 R-4 Vine & Bars Edge Wreath Cent VG10 . Fine sharpness with fine granularity covering the surfaces and specks of grainy verdigris in some reverse protected areas. The only notable marks are a few rim nicks before the face, one above L in LIBERTY, and one behind the mid hair. There is also a planchet clip left of the date also visiable above ATE in STATES. MDS. Chocolate and steel brown. Clear date, fully readable legends.

1794 S-17a R-5- Head of 1793 AG3 . Previously cleaned and now toned a pleasing tan brown with dark crud in protected areas. There are fine, diagonal striations on both sides, the reverse is near fully worn, an outline of the wreath and partial legends seen faintly, the obverse is sharper with a readable date and LIBERTY, and outlined portrait. MDS.

Deep steel and olive browns with lighter brown toning on some high point. Full date and legends.

A couple points sharper with a scratch on the obverse above the portrait and through T in LIBERTY and traces of dark, old verdigris built up lightly in the protected areas of the right wreath branch to ME in AMERICA. There are also minor rim bumps below 79, over IC in AMERICA, and over IT in UNITED. Glossy two tone steel brown with lighter brown on the high points. MDS Breen state IV with a strong die crack through E in STATES. Full date and legends. Our grade is VG8.

1794 S-36 R-5 FR2 . Fine roughness and porosity covers the surfaces with notable rim dents before the face and neck as well as over D ST on the reverse. There are also faint diagonal hairline scratches on the portrait and a void with dark scale at ER in LIBERTY. Chocolate and steel browns. The portrait is fully outlined, partial legends, and the date is weak but can mostly be made out in hand.

1794 S-35 R-5 G6+ . A couple of points sharper but with a void or low area along the right obverse dentils and porous surfaces with a speck of old verdigris above 1 in the date. Otherwise glossy steely medium and light browns with scattered spots of reddish chocoalte brown. There are old digs at E in LIBERTY, the last 0 in the fraction, and F in OF. Very Rare EDS Breen state III. Weak at TES OF but otherwise readable date and legends.

1794 S-38 R-5 AG3 . Glossy olive and deep steel with lighter pale tan on some high points. Porous surfaces, partially obscuring the date, with old hairline scratches on the portrait and obverse fields, and rim nicks behidn the lower hair and at the first A in AMERICA. Unevenly struck on the reverse, the lower half sharper than the upper, while the portrait is fully outlined, full LIBERTY.

1794 S-36 R-5 VG7 . A point sharper but with granularity on the surfaces except for the high poinst which are smooth. Glossy chocolate and olive browns. The only notable marks are a couple tiny rim bumps udner 1 in the date and over E in LIBERTY. Full date and legends.

1794 S-39 R-6 FR2 . A point sharper but corroded with scattered pits and notebale deep scratches on both sides, especially the one on the lower reverse. Mostly outlined portrait and wreath with partial legends. A coin with issues no doubt, but thankfully enough detail remains to help identify this rare die variety.

The most notable of those marks is a nick on the cap, a scratch in the hair near where it meets the cap, wispy pin scratches on the portrait, and a rim bump at the first A in AMERICA. Smooth, glossy surfaces otherwise.

The notable marks include a pinprick above the portait, an old scratch from TE in STATES down into the wreath, and minor rim bumps right of LIBERTY and under the right ribbon tail. There is nick on the dentils at star 1, otherwise trivial marks. E-MDS (a), smooth glossy surfaces. The reverse is rotated clockwise about 30 degrees. Our grade is consistent with ANACS, VF30. LOT 139 1835 N-9 R-4 Large 8 & Stars ANACS EF40 Details (Corroded) . XF40 sharpness with light to moderate corrosion on the surfaces including pitting along the left obverse. Mostly deep steel mottled with lighter ruddy brown. EDS(a). Our grade is net F15. Certificate# 7341308
LOT 136 1833 N-5 R-1 Horned 8 ANACS AU50 . Light steel brown with underlyling ruddy copper brown. Free of notable marks with glossy, smooth surfaces. LDS(c) with the fine peripherial die breaks on both sides. Repunched 8 with the two tiny “horns” framing the top. The reverse is rotated clockwise about 30 degrees. Our grade is XF45+.
