EARLY CENTS AUCTIONS
LOT 762 1834 N-3 R1 Large 8 with Small Stars VF25. Glossy light olive blending to darker olive brown in protected areas. Just a few marks including a couple light scratches near the line under CENT and a minor rim bruise at the second T in STATES.

LOT 766 Pair of Cents, 1835 & 1836. Includes 1835 N-16 R2 Head of 1836 VF20 net F15 for scratches, and 1836 N-3 R1 LDS with a cud break at star 6 F15+. Both are attractive glossy brown and chocolate. Lot of 2 coins.

LOT 763 1834 N-3 R1 Large 8 with Small Stars VF25. Sharpness near EF45 but there are two scratches in the field before the chin and neck, a dull scrape on the lips, and a rim dent at star 11. Smooth except for a small spot of corrosion and verdigris under the O in ONE. Glossy medium brown blended with darker olive brown on the reverse.
LOT 767 1835 N-18 R4+ Head of 1834 G4. Several points sharper but dull and covered with fine to moderate roughness. No verdigris. A curved scratch on the face is the only notable mark. Dark steel and olive brown. Not attractive but the date and legends are complete and easily readable. Struck with the reverse rotated 20 degrees clockwise.

LOT 764 1835 N-9 R4 Large 8, Head of 1834 VG7. Several points sharper but covered with fine roughness with traces of verdigris in protected areas. No notable marks. Slightly glossy olive brown with steel brown toning on the highpoints. E-MDS, Grellman state b, with a fine die crack at ERI.

LOT 768 1836 N-3 R1 VF30. Sharpness EF45 with a light but fresh scratch through the E in ONE. Retoned frosty bluish steel and light olive with tan in protected areas. LDS with a rim cud at star 6.

LOT 765 1835 N-12 R4 Head of 1834 VG7. Slightly sharper with some nicks scattered over the obverse. A chip left of star 3 and a vertical nick low on the neck are the notable defects. Slightly glossy tan and steel brown on the obverse; the reverse is woodgrained light brown and darker olive brown. EDS, Grellman state a.
