INDIANAPOLIS EAC 2024
LOT 637 1828 C-1 R1 VF25. Lightly whizzed and retoned glossy medium chocolate and olive brown with frosty lighter brown in some protected areas. A dull scratch over the A in HALF is the only notable mark.
LOT 642 1832 C-3 R1 F12. A bit sharper but there are some light contact marks on the obverse including a short scratch over the 2 in the date. Smooth except for a spot of fine reddish corrosion on the O in OF. Medium brown.
LOT 638 1828 C-3 R1 VF35. Sharpness AU50 but recolored glossy brown and olive. A planchet flake in the field before the mouth and a spot of corrosion at the right end of the line below CENT are the notable marks.
LOT 643 1835 C-2 R1 VF25. Slightly sharper but recolored glossy light olive and chocolate. No roughness, only minor marks. LDS, Manley state 3.0, with strong die clashmarks.

LOT 639 1828 C-3 R1 VF30. Ten points sharper but recolored glossy light olive brown with lighter brown and tan in protected areas. The retoning is quite nice on the obverse, less effective on the reverse.
LOT 644 1849 C-1 R2- VF35. Slightly sharper with two nicks on the jaw line. Otherwise quite nice with attractive frosty light to medium brown toning. LDS, Manley state 2.0, with the reverse rotated 80 degrees CCW.
LOT 640 1832 C-1 R2 EF45. Frosty light olive brown and steel with light bluish steel overtones. Satiny and attractive. A nick on the neck and another on the chin are the only notable marks.
LOT 645 1849 Small Date Proof Original Breen 1-A ELECTROTYPE COPY AU55. An exceptionally well executed electrotype of the original proof. Dark olive brown and steel with reflective fields on both sides. A hairline scratch right of star 2 and small patch of fine carbon on the rim under the 18 can help identify this piece.

LOT 641 1832 C-2 R2 VF35. Ten points sharper but there are hairline scratches on the obverse, all blended into the toning, plus a nick on the rim over star 6. Glossy light chocolate mottled with some darker olive brown on the reverse. LDS, Manley 3.0, with a strong die crack at TE in STATES.
LOT 646 1850 C-1 R2- VF35. Slightly sharper but recolored glossy golden light olive brown. Just trivial marks including a couple fine hairlines on the obverse. EDS with shallow low spots at the dentils tips on both sides.
