EARLY CENTS AUCTIONS

LOT 321 1800 S-209 R3 NGC graded VF30. Slightly glossy chocolate brown and steel. Looks smooth but a glass reveals microscopic roughness in the fields and protected areas. No verdigris and the only mark is a small scratch well hidden over the leaves above NE in ONE. M-LDS, Breen state VI, with die cracks on the reverse and clashmarks under the hair ribbon. Our grade is VF25 sharpness net F15+. Comes with a nice provenance. The attribution and Mervis Collection provenance are noted on the NGC label. 2038619-001

LOT 320 1800 S-208 R3 PCGS VF Detail, Damage. Glossy medium brown with reddish chocolate in protected areas. There are many dull ticks scattered over both sides, mostly on the reverse, and the surfaces have been lightly smoothed. A dull rim nick at IT in UNITED is the best identifying mark. MDS, Breen state II, with a small cud break at TY. Looks better than it might sound, but it is far from perfect. Our grade is F15 sharpness net VF20. 1449.98/42910423
