Lot 3 1794 S-17a R-5 Head & Edge of 1793 FR2. Dark steel patina with uniform granularity and a few dark spots of old scale across the surfaces. Sharper obverse than the reverse with readable LIBERTY, date, and outliend portrait. $ 850

Lot 5 1794 S-18b R-4 Head of 1793 PCGS F12. Medium brown, tan brown, and steel with microscopic porosity visible under a glass on otherwise semi glossy surfaces. There is a thin scratch at the bottom left edge of the cap and a mark on the laves under ED in UNITED, trivial marks otherwise. Fully readable date and legends. Lot 4 1794 S-18a R-6 Lettered Edge Head of 1793 PCGS P/FR Details (Damage. Steel and tan browns with a few pits containig old, inert verdigris on the reverse. Well worn, the obverse a bit sharper than the reverse, and a natural lamination on the upper obverse around LIB, as struck. Mostly outlined portrait, and partial hints of the date remain, particularly 79. 35510.98/38418978 $ 2,300
