LOT 508 1852 N-15 R3 ANACS graded MS63 Brown. Lustrous medium brown with at least 25% of the red remaining on the reverse. An attractive cent. The only marks are a few very faint pinscratches at NI in UNITED and CE in CENT. Scarce E-MDS, die state a, with fine die lines at the base of N in ONE. Our grade is MS60. Tied for CC#9 overall in the Grellman census but tied for second finest of die state a. 7260698

LOT 509 1852 N-16 R1 PCGS graded MS64 Brown. Lustrous light steel brown with delicate overtones of light bluish steel. Traces of mint red show on both sides, mostly on the obverse. The surfaces are satiny and this cent has very nice eye appeal. There are a few small spots of darker toning at stars 1 & 2 and some small contact marks including a nick on the nostril and a rim nick at the D in UNITED. LDS, die state b. Our grade is MS60+ .
