LOT 442 1831 N-6 R1 Large Letters AU55+. Glossy light to medium brown with subtle overtones of light bluish steel on the reverse. Satiny mint frost covers the protected areas and this cent has mint state eye appeal. The best identifying mark is a spot of reddish steel toning on the second 1 in the date. E-MDS, Grellman state a, before any dentil fusing on the right side of the reverse.

LOT 445 1832 N-2 R3 Medium Letters AU50+. A lustrous mint state cent that has a few splashes of very fine carbon on the reverse, strongest at the E in CENT. The only contact mark is a small diagonal nick on the cheek just right of the mouth. LDS, Grellman state b. The fields are flowlined and the misplaced S right of the D in UNITED is gone. Removed from an NGC holder graded MS62BN (NGC label #1778702-018 included, and it shows the attribution and Ron Adam provenance).

LOT 443 1831 N-6 R1 Large Letters VF35. Glossy olive brown and steel with lighter brown and tan in protected areas. Just a few contact marks including a nick close under the earlobe and a nearly vertical nick in the field under the chin. MDS showing fine radial die flowlines in the fields.

LOT 446 1833 N-3 R1 AU50. Frosty light brown with darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. The only marks are a tiny nick just right of the nostril, a few tiny rim nicks at ES-OF, and a small planchet flake on the rim at the C in AMERICA. M-LDS, Grellman die state b, with flowlined fields and weakened dentils, especially on the obverse.

LOT 444 1831 N-14 R4 Large Letters VF20. Glossy light to medium brown delicately mixed with darker chocolate brown. Smooth with just a couple rim nicks including one at star 2, another right of star 13, and one at the E in UNITED. Lightly worn but softly struck. MDS.
