INDIANAPOLIS EAC 2024  THE RASMUSSEN 1800 NC-3

LOT 325 1800 NC-3 R6- PCGS VF Detail, Exc. Corrosion. Glossy but ugly with a blotchy mix of olive brown, lighter brown, and reddish brown toning on moderately rough surfaces. The only contact marks is a short horizontal scratch under the N in ONE. Great details, especially on the reverse. The date and legends are strong and spike up from the top of the I in AMERICA is bold. Our grade is F15 sharpness net VG7. LOT 326 1801 S-214 R3 PCGS graded VF35. Mostly glossy dark chocolate and olive brown mottled with lighter brown and chocolate, particularly on the reverse. The surfaces are reasonably smooth but not perfectly so, and there are a few faint scratches on the portrait. The best identifying mark is a rather deep planchet chip over the right top of the N in ONE. MDS, Breen state II. The tops of RT in LIBERTY are dull from die clashing and the die cracks on the reverse are clear. Our grade is VF30 sharpness net VF20. The attribution and Reed provenance are noted on the PCGS label.

LOT 327 1801 S-215 R4+ VG8+. Very attractive glossy medium brown and light chocolate. Smooth with outstanding eye appeal for the grade. Just trivial marks including a couple faint scratches in the field before the face. LDS, Breen state VII, with severe die failure at the lower curls and a strong cud-like clash at S-O. Close to VG10.
